That's drop-off catering, and Dimitri's has been doing it out of the same Merrillville kitchen for thirty years.
We cook it, drive it, set it out hot, leave you everything you need to serve it, and go. Same menu as our full-service events — the prices are published — with disposables instead of china and no staff on the clock. If you want a server to stay for an hour, or a bartender (we carry a traveling liquor license), add one.

No per-person minimum on weekday breakfast and lunch. In practice drop-off makes sense from about 10 people; under that, we'll point you to the right restaurant. Appetizer-only orders carry a $40 minimum.

Yes. We arrive, set the food out hot in chafing dishes or on platters, lay out serving utensils, plates, cutlery and napkins, and leave. If you'd like someone to stay and serve or clear, add a server.
48 hours is comfortable for a weekday breakfast or lunch; same-week is often possible — call and ask. For 100-plus people or a weekend, a week.
Drop-off is food, setup and disposables — you handle service and cleanup. Full service adds staff, china, glassware, linens, bar and cleanup, and is what most weddings and dinners use. Many corporate lunches and family parties do fine with drop-off at a lower cost.
