For three decades, families across Northwest Indiana have called Dimitri's Catering the morning after a loss, told us a date and a rough headcount, and had a warm meal ready for their relatives and friends after the service — at our hall, at their church, or in their own home.
We do this often, and we do it plainly: a simple, generous menu; enough food for the people who show up unexpectedly; staff who set up quietly and clear without being asked; and one phone call to arrange it all. If you'd rather not host, The Croatian Center in Merrillville is a private, comfortable room with free parking and a level entrance for older relatives, a few minutes from most of Lake County's funeral homes and cemeteries.

Both. We host repasts at The Croatian Center in Merrillville — a quiet, private hall with free parking and a level, ADA-accessible entrance — and we deliver and set up at churches, funeral homes, VFW and community halls, and private homes across Lake and Porter County.
Our luncheon menus run $25.00 to $33.00 per person and family-style lunch (choice of two meats) is $31.00 per person, including house salad, bread, butter and coffee; tax and gratuity are additional. There is no per-person minimum for weekday luncheons. For a simple delivered spread we can quote a flat amount for the headcount.
