About the Venue

The Pavilion at St. Sava is a contemporary, state-of-the-art event center built to accommodate some of the largest weddings and gatherings in the region. The 12,000+ sq ft complex includes a large open central floor, a stage, a fully equipped catering kitchen, and a bar — configurable for everything from intimate ceremonies to large-format trade shows and corporate events.

One of the venue's most distinctive features is an accordion window-and-door system that opens the central hall to two large outdoor patios with panoramic, wooded views. Indoor and outdoor flow seamlessly, making it especially popular for spring and summer weddings, festivals, and conferences.

Completed in fall 2014 and operated by Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church — one of Northwest Indiana's most notable cultural and religious sites — the pavilion has become a destination for some of the region's most ambitious events. Dimitri's Catering is the preferred caterer.

Indoor-Outdoor Flow

The Pavilion's signature feature is the accordion window-and-door system that opens the central hall to two large outdoor patios. We use this layout to give your evening a natural rhythm — cocktail hour outside under the trees, dinner inside under the drapery and string lights, then dancing in the central hall once the night kicks into gear.

The hardwood floors handle a full night of dancing, and the flow from ceremony to cocktail to reception feels effortless — no relocating guests between buildings, no awkward gap between courses and toasts.
